Help please
Help please!!!! I have a 94 z28 Camaro and it’s been giving me nothing but issues after I changed a few things on the car. I’ve changed the radio, the two front door speakers, k&n cold air intake, and a new mass air flow sensor. The car had been stalling on me after driving it for little bit and it would just straight up die and cut off all power while driving. It would start back up and run perfectly fine for the rest of the drive, but after driving it like that for a couple of days when the car would die, it seemed to be getting worse with starting after the car had died. So I let it sit for while cause I didn’t have time to work on it or look at it but I’ve recently just removed the radio, door speakers, unplugged the air pump cause it kept blowing the fuse, and put in a new MAF. Started it up and the fans turned right on along with engine light. It’s never done this before other then when I tried to jump the a and b on the obd1 port to read the engine code. So at this point I’m assuming that’s there’s an issue with the fans.

How many miles on the car and do you know if the Optispark has ever been replaced?
The '93 I had also acted like that when the alternator was going bad, drove me nuts wondering what it was then one day it quit charging altogether and died.
Replaced the alternator and no more issues,I had already done the Opti.

If the SES light is on, it is normal for the fans to kick on, regardless of what code it has. It's a engine protection feature.
Was there a reason you changed the MAF as you said you changed it and then the car started acting up. I'd throw the old on back in and see what happens. Might have a bad new one or you may have bumped a wire or one is loose.
