First of all, a STOCK '98 Supra with a 2JZ-GTE and a Six speed tranny will cost you $45k and up, no way around it, or you can pick up a 98 Camaro ss for 10k...

 

Yeah, he explained it as this: 4 stage tuned motherboard that was set for the 2nd stage for daily driving, 3rd and 4th stage would have gotten me like 6mpg. He told me that since it was the whole motherboard if i did something to my battery it wouldnt restart my computer and lose my tune. He said that if i did get a tuner and changed anything i would lose 3500 worth the work to the motherboard.... I was like wow.. sweet.. he took me for a ride in it (because the previousbidders couldnt handle it and almost put it in a ditch) and he did a LONG brake stand burn out leaving TONS of smoke and really pissed the guy behind us off, then he let go of the brake, and basically while he still had no traction took it to the right and brought it down the road sideways for like 10 yards. That and the fact that it was louder than hell sold me on it... He fed me some line about a representative from Barret Jackson wanted to come by and buy his car for 5000... Im sure this was just a ploy to get me to buy it quicker.. Here i am now with a cherry running Camaro... [&:].. It worked for about the 1st month i owned it lol..

It's funny how the ricers call the PCM a, "Motherboard," and like everyone else doesn't. I hear, "Motherboard," and I think of Microsoft employees, overweight, glasses, pocket protectors, sunvisor hats, socks with red strips pulled up to the calve, you get the picture. Like the geek squad but not the cool employee that works there you know. Like the one everyone talks about on break. I don't know, I'm kinda hung over this morning, I think it was too much turkey and not enough beer. lol, ok i bought a Z28. I figured when he was saying motherboard he was just some dumb redneck that didnt know his *** from a hole in the ground and ment pcm. Im not sure exactly if he actually ported the heads, had ANY tuning done, or if he bought a bigger throttlebody.. (i do kno that he cut a notch into the induction boot to get it to fit on the TB) I do kno that it had posi rear(and came with when he "won it" from the 1st owner at PIR kuz it leaves LONG think tire marks) Also i have 3 inch exhaust and no cat. Bascially all the stuff you can see, i know ive got... thats all tho.. when i asked for the paperwork he never replied to my voicemail and i havent been able to reach him since. Probably kuz he knows by now i found his roaches and weed in the ash tray... dumb ***...

unfortunately yes i drove a V6 mustang.. [].. it treated me well tho. Sound system won me an award at a car show and got me from a to b.

 

Dude I've had 5 Mustangs Bro. 84 GT 306 running close to 400HP, 87 GT Nitrous fed but basically stock, MSD and Headers back, 95 GT (Wifes), port and polished heads, some other stuff I don't remember, 96 GT with just a crappy intake, and another 96 GT with a K&N cold air intake, MSD again, short throw shifter, I think I swapped the plenium over too. The problem with those 96-98 modular motors is you really can't get anything out of them horsepower wise. I blew the intake manifold out of my latest96 just speeding out of a light, cracked it. On both of my 96's, I'd replaced both of the ball joints up front and nearly never drove them to have them crap out. Those are expensive you know. I got to talking to the wife though and I think she's behind me on this idea I got. See, I got this neighbor I can't stand and he's totally jealous of my Camaro and glares at me all the time. Well, he's an ungrateful Mustang owner with the baby V6 but he keeps it in his garage as if trying to keep it nice. Respectable I guess, I like V8's and nothing less. Well, I told my wife I ought to find a 94-95 5.0 with an already modified exhaust and use it as my daily driver, park the Corolla on base and start a beat up old Mustang every morning and let it heat up. lol Be like, "Yeah, and this is what your wife wouldn't letyouhave. My wife let me have it as a beater. Wanna see my Camaro?" lol I think it's pretty funny. I was looking online a little about how much it would cost for one of those early SN95 models and they're dirt cheap. Think I might :-)
