The Borla adjustable sounds very nice.

3" is fine for your purposes.

I almost went with magnaflow then, I can't remember what but I changed to the hooker aero system. For being a mostly stock, bolt on lt1 many people can't believe how aggressive it sounds. I def didn't want flowmaster cause everyone did that, I'm not disappointed at all with my hooker. I would like to get a set of electrical cat cutouts though just because lol. Video probably wouldn't do it justice like you said but I'll see if I can get a video sometime soon.
On a side note, I personally like the sound of an lt1 over an ls1. I've been told they sound difference because of firing order.

So tell us, what did you decide on? I'd go with longtubes if you can. As for the exhaust I absolutely LOVE my hooker aero sound. It's subtle at idle but still sounds mean, just driving it gives a nice subtle tone but you can still talk, at WOT everyone gon know you mean business!!!! I'f stay away from magnaflow and flowmaster if I was you. Here's a video (not mine) of the magnaflow vs hooker and the hooker sounds a lot more aggresssive. They have pretty much the same setup as mine but it will get slightly louder over a year or so once it gets broken in. If you saw my other post, I got the same headers and high flow cats as craby. They are expensive but well worth it since they're stainless steel. Also I went with crush gaskets and locking bolts so I never have leaks. 6 years and still no leaks so far

Default 406

[QUOTE=. 95z28man somewhere you asked me where mine was looks like both my cars next to each other one red one plum ,its on page 15 of 93-02 prodjects 350 to 406 swap ,those sound good loud ,mine is like abknockshly loud ,though on computer speakers they all sound pretty much the same ,the true duals a bit deeper ,at idle its also louder ,but on the throttle at about 3000 rpms, looks like those guys were redlineing it .i kinda been missing it ,but more then happy with the 3800 an the gas money i have saved the last few months ,i look forward to next year ,already hehe,i fire it up once a week until its time to store it next month then unhook the battery + cable , put some seafoam in it ,the other i will store it as i only have room for one car in my garage $50.00 per month to store it,the red one ,i think if the guy has the 96 he should go true duals the cost is no more ,when i di mine i noticed sound .was louder .but the trottle responce was the same ,with the swap it feels like i let out 40hp ,there was to much heat comeing from under the car vibration to,its all gone now an sound the way it should with no restriction at all ,some pay more for cat back then true duals ,but some depending on the state they live in .
