Today I took the pump off and started scraping the gaskets off. It had either a paper gasket or was the liquid gasket, either way it's tough to get off. I bought some water pump liquid gasket, but I will be returning it tomorrow and ordering the 2 new gaskets off ebay since none of the parts stores have them here.
There are the paper gaskets on ebay for $2.50 + $18 shipping and the alum ones are $10 + $32 shipping to Canada. -OUCH!!
Can I get away with using the paper ones?
Will I need to use anything with the gaskets or just throw them back on after I clean it?

I called Lordco and Canadian Tire and gave them my make and model. Lordco said they don't carry them anymore and CT just doesn't carry them period. I think those are my only options for auto parts.

Do I just need the 2 gaskets that go between the block and the pump?
I might get the o-ring as well just incase.
I don't see anywhere else it would be able to leak.
Does anyone know the torque specs for the water pump and TB bolts?

Well I managed to replace the water pump gaskets and get everything back togeather. Too bad it still leaks!!! I think I found the leak source coming from the front of the waterpump behind the small pulley on the far left (facing the engine). This will be the fourth time replacing my coolant in 2 weeks... That's almost $80 in coolant! lol
I just ordered a new waterpump online for $130 with shipping, lets hope this fixes my leak!

yep new pump should do it. theres a weep hole at the shaft housing and thats where the coolant comes out if the seal fails. make sure the crank sensor connections are dry and while your at it put some electrical grease on connecters.

I got it of Rockauto.com after pricing them out on e-bay, amazon and other various sites and around town it seemed to be the best price.
The pump I got is PRONTO Part # 54307290 which was $77.06 CAD + Shipping. I got this one as it has a one year warranty and came with the metal style gaskets.
The AC delco pump is $100.64 CAD + shipping.
Everywhere in town wanted over $300 which I thought was bs.
