Default HELP! Clear Gauge Lens Cover!!!

Hey all-

I've looked EVERYWHERE on the internet, made phone calls, and tried to track it down, but I just can't find a clear gauge lens cover (you know...the clear plastic that covers your gauges) for my '97 Z28. Mine is all scratched up. I bought the car about 2 months ago, and it looks like some dumbass tried to clean it with a flippin brillo pad/steel wool. The closest I've gotten is that Classic Industries has them for 93-96. Can't get them from GM anymore, and I got a phone number from my dealer as to who has the dies/molds for them now, but I get some ridicululous recorded message that says "all circuits are busy...blah blah blah"...and it's not from my cell provider.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIND A NEW LENS COVER?!??!?!?!??! I beg of you. I have a car show in about a week and a half (sunday the 28th), and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to find one by then. I just can't find one at all! Thanks in advance for the help...

-Brett-

Remove the plastic. Hit it with 500-1000-2000 grit wetsand, and it should take out all the swirls. First, try out some plastic polish and use a lot of elbow grease.
