Hello fellas., I own a 95 Z28 and I just can't fill up the gas tank anymore. When it's completely empty it takes only like $28.00 and it gauges a bit more than 3/4 of a tank. I have check the fuel pump,, the canister on the left side of the car,, the 3 little hoses,, cleaned the valve that is there,,,,, uuUFFF it'$$$$ a big problem for me,, I live in the gas station,, PLEASE ANY HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED,,,,,,,,,

 

pull the fill hose off and see if its coming apart on the inside. then see if you can make sure the pipe coming from the tank is clear. i remember a thread on here with this problem quite a while ago. seems like a part of the tank or fill pipe was coming apart.

Is it always at the same gas station? It may sound odd, but sometimes our vehicles at work won't take gas from certain pumps. After a certain point, the auto cut off keeps shutting the pump off like its full. Go to a different station and fill it up no problem. Strange things...

 

Thanks jwreck,,it was with all gas stations,,but I manage a way to fill it up,,Imess with the vent valve underneath the car(driver side) maybe that was not the problem.but at least the tank its breathing and it gets full again,,,no odor of gas so far,,,

 

may be a vent hose from the tank to the top of the fill tube by where you fill it. that hose may be plugged off for some reason. mine does not have one, not sure why it doesn't do what yours is doing. mine has a small hole in the unleaded fill restrictor to let air out.
