help on camaro
outer tie rod ends are a common problem and make the car drive like a truck. have someone bounce the steering wheel back and forth for you and get under the front and look at em.
no when it has done it the front never slammed. it is in the rear of the car somewhere seems like it is on the driver side rear but cant see where i'm just wondering if it is where the bump stops above the rear axles are rotted off but there is still no sign where they have hit
the car must have had some wide tires on the back at one time. bump stops can get in the way so guys will cut them or take them off. check to see if the exhaust is close to the rear differential. it may be that on the bumps the rearend is coming up and hitting the exhaust.
maybe,,, maybe not... sure would look nice though. afterthought,,, woh from tokeland,,, lol. if its only doing it on hard bumps check to see that the jack is fastened correctly. they are known to go bang when you hit bumps. gas tank filler tube is another that can go bump on a bump.
