help asap steering linkage

Question help asap steering linkage

so im putting in my lt headers and i got evrything off and when i go to put the header in it gets stuck on the steering linkage i took off the bolt on bottom and one on top but it still wont come out any ideas?

i thought there were more than one bolt holding each end on. dont know on the 00 though. got a cherry picker? have u thought of lifting the front of the motor? u putting them in from topside or from bottom?

from bottom it gets stuck on the steering shaft and i cant get it to disconnect thats the only thing holding me back

it looks like they are held on by a clamp with one bolt. the clamp must be sticking. try tapping with plastic mallet. says in the 93 book to make sure the steering wheel is locked straight ahead from the start so not to do damage to the sir coil.

yea that piece was long so i took out the steering wheel bolts and it came right out
