Before you go digging into putting boost on your car, do some other bolt on mods first.

Headers
High-Flow Catalytic Converter
Cat-Back Exhaust
Cold Air Intake
3.73 or 4.10 Gears
Performance Clutch
Short Shifter
SS Sway Bars (Front and Back)
Stiffer Lowering Springs (Front and Back)

I would dig into doing those things first. Then if you still want more ponies, look at a Supercharger

Good luck and welcome aboard the forum!

Turbos and superchargers aren't produced for LT1 Camaros as far as I know. I would just build the engine. Cylinder heads, ported intake manifold and camshaft should be enough for you.

Well building the engine would be cheaper than a turbo or supercharger, unless you get a used one. You would need to also build the engine to handle a turbo or supercharger.

This will give you a general idea. There are cheaper parts out there. Some of these things, such as the cat-back exhaust, you can get used for $100 if you look around. Craigslist is your best friend on anything like this. Except the clutch and lowering springs. You will want to get those brand new.

3.73 or 4.10 Gears
Best if you can find a whole rear end. Craigslist.com is a winner for this

Short Shifter

SS Sway Bars (Front and Back)
Once again, Craigslist.com is the winner for these parts

This should probably have been posted in the 4th gen category. You may get some more help or suggestions from other members.

i moved your thread to the 4th gen section. please read the site rules. also look the stickies over at the top of the sections, lots of info for you there. its real easy to pop 6k into a motor without boost. to do a motor with charger you will want to build the lower end to be compatible and stong enough so your lookin at more coin to do that.
