what are your plans for the car, im in the process for getting these part but have een doing research for 5 months so far.

Do you run and auto or a manual, do you drag race, what are your supporting mods, and what 1/4 mile time or car WBHP do you aim for??

Im reply to rockers, yes if you have over 0.550" lift get some rollers. stocker will be ok but wll wear out aftermarket bronze valve guide do to their motion on over the top of the valve. I have been advised that stock lifter are ok on normal milage engine that has been well maintained, 80K or less. But if you have the heads off and you have the cash get some new replacement lifters, you dont need race ones for street applications

It's hard to go wrong with AFR or TFS heads.

If you don't have one already, LS6 intake should be on your list.

ported ls6 heads, sound good . where do you want you power band, its different trying to set up a cam for an auto vs a manual.

the guys at TSP are good to talk to and do reasonable packages, depends on your budget.

ls6 proted heads, dual value springs and a 228R will put down over 400rwhp, bigger duration pushes power and torque up and you lose a bit down low

A milder cam would be the way to go stall below the 23X range on duration on both sides and keep it around a 112-113 LSA. That should still give you some good low end and still open her up on top. AFR is probaly the way to go if you dont mind forking out the cash.

It's only different for an auto if you don't have a high stall torque converter. Even then you can go big on a cam for an LS1.
