Headers
I have a 1994 z28, i need new headers. whats a good website? if i get name brand headers should i just replace the entire exhaust system from headers back with the same name brand?
ws6store.com
if you get aftermarket headers you will also need a y pipe; some brands come with y pipes, others don't. It isn't nessecary to have all the same brand, I have BBK headers and ORy and SLP catback, no issues there.

i was told that Y pipes cut your horse power... and that each pipe should be separate. So my question now would be is there anyone that makes X pipe? or do i have to make my own?
Fbodies don't run with a X or H pipe setup because it is not needed, nor is there any real room. The y pipe is fine for a stock cube LS1, even with a pretty wild cam the y pipe can flow plenty well. There are only two options for true duals at this point; Kooks and TSP. The latter is really just a dumped x pipe while the Kooks is madly expensive.

do a search and listen to some tracks of camaro's with different setups. would not trade my kooks and corsa exhaust for anything. speed engineering performance has some good deals as does maryland speed, i got mine form them.
