when it comes to the bolting down the head assembly as shown in the picture(couldnt post picture actually). i cant remember or find out where the two different bolts ( extentded hex head and head with continued thread ) go. could someone please let me know where out of the 16 spots both go. also could you specify when you say right or left which direction are you refering to. if you were standing in front of the car or inside sitting the face out. Thank you in advance !

 

are we talking a v6 head or v8 head? LS1 or LT1?

yeah a litlle i have seen this but is the top bolt in the pic supposed to be the extended head. i guess it looks a little bigger but not really so im just makin sure. plus on the manual i seen its the same pic for both sides. which side do the two go on asumming you are standing in front of the hood look at the motor.

 

usually used to mount exaust guard or for a ground strap so if your using guard check where it would mount and look to see if you have grounds or wire harness that would need mounted after the heads are installed. then look to see where the best location would be for the screw head bolt.
