has anyone ever put a v8 in a 4th gen v6 body? How difficult was it what parts were needed?

 

I believe it has been done. It is about as far from cost-effective as you can get.

Its not worth the time or money as said above. And yes SEARCH. Its not us trying to flame your or any thing like that but this is asked at least once a week it seems.

 

Pretty much if you want to spend more than a 4th gen z28 with all the pretty bells and whistles go for it, That or close your eyes when you tally up the money! Just sell the thing buy a nice z28 and all your hard work paid off. Only muscles you'll move are the ones to write the check. Why don't we lock and sticky this. Might help the posts from popping up once a week!

 

there are some better threads than this that tell what is needed for a switch. it can be done and has been at a reasonable cost by a couple of fortunate souls that had a donner z car already.
