coming home from the track Friday night (knocked down another 8.80 in the 1/8) i got passed by a blue fox body GT then by a 3.4 Camaro ...the fox body was killing the camaro , which i couldn't let slide . so i caught them . we both slowed to about 45 , gave 3 honks and i killed the fox body. about 3 miles down the road i stopped to get some smokes and the Camaro guy stopped in and shook my hand and said "good job dude" ... we camaro guys may get as brotherly as the Vette guys yet!

 

nice kill always nice to hear the big brother sticking up for his little brother. I know I would have done the same thing in that situation

 

Nice... Us Camaro guys are a dying race and need to stick up for each other. Although we'll pick up some more members with the new Camaro.

 

I agree there. I kinda like being the dying race though cause it only makes us have more appreciation for what we drive in the end.

 

All the more reason why I think Camaro owners should wave to eachother like Corvette owners.

i haven't ran in the 1/4 yet because it's almost an hour away and there are 2 1/8th tracks within 20 minutes of my house...i have ran a best of a 8.80 100% bone stock......but i got a bottle and 2 steel wheels coming. once the wheels get here i will buy some ET Streets and HOPEfully get into the high 7's.

 

7s may be stretching it a little...but drag radials are the way to go for sure.
