Ground body kits
#11
With any lowering springs or coilovers, I don't think the body kits are even feasible. I'm literally hovering the nose and sides of my front bumper anywhere I take my car downtown in Tallahassee right now, and I've got BMR springs on STR.T shocks, with 17" wheels and 275/40/17 tires. Driveways, speed humps (humps, not bumps), I always hear at least the little air ducting piece underneath scrub a bit.
If you're leaving the car at stock (truck) height, then it shouldn't really be an issue, especially if you're going with bigger wheels and tires.

yes a car that is an inch lower is that much closer to the ground ,i am so tall the car is low enough for me from stock ,lowering the car is realy just for plans of raceing, its not realy noticed ,unless you put a ground effects kit on on it,though a 315 35 17 or 18inch tire, would put the car near back to stock hight,so guys that lower there cars an put taller tires on there car are kinda defeating the purpose ,plus the rubbing issues even with 275 you are 0.65 higher then stock ,so your car is only like a quarter inch higher ,i think guys that lower the car should stay with a 245 40 16 or 17 stock tire ,to get the inch lower ,though with the kit they look real cool lower, but yes to close an most cases unless your doing oval track raceing, different strokers for different folksters, what one guy or gal likes another does not,but may think it looks cool on there car is all that matters,if a guy has a 255 on the front or 245 then 275 in back the front will be a half inch lower, then some with lowering kits,,wich gives the car the lower in front look, air shocks do the same for my car,but bring up the back an does not bring down the front, thing i like is i can keep it even or not

I went from the factory 16" wheels to SS option painted aluminum wheels from an 02'. Not much bigger, but they fill the wheel wells much better.
Honestly, it's a saving grace with the lowering springs in. I can't imagine the car being usable if it were any lower then the 1.25" drop that's on it now.
