Default Body Kits

Hey guys I know you guys aren't all happy about people putting kits on their Camaro's, but to be honest mine isn't going to be anything to insane. At least I hope. I had a 97 RS and it looked really good with side skirts and spoiler and hood scoops and stuff.. but now my 98 Z28 looks kinda plain..

I've been looking for like some ground effects to make it look a little flashier like the RS, but those cost like $600.. so I might as well look at a bunch of kits if just ground effects cost that much.

I was wondering what kind of body kits has everyone seen? I've seen one called the "Sniper", wasn't to excited about that one. I saw one called the WS6 package which obviously throws on the 2 WS6 hood scoops and makes it look more like a firebird (I'd get a picture up but I dunno how to get them on here). If anyone else has seen any throw them up here and lets have a look!

Yeah those body kits are definitely nice ls1. I kinda like the vortech one (middle one) and the last one as well. And that's also what I was wondering.. why aren't there any small clean looking ones? Ah well.. maybe I'll go for one of those and just do what I can with it.

They dong't make nearly as many visual "upgrades" for the Camaro as they do for the Mustang in general, maybe it's because Camaro people are more performance oriented, I'm not really sure. That said, the only one I even think looked ok was the firs one LS posted up, other than that I though they looked ugly and over the top, but hey, my Camaro is stock visually except the wheels and exhaust tips. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, get whatever you think looks good. I personally would leave the stock look because it's clean and the car was made to have a nice rounded off bottom and I think every body/lip kit makes it look like you just stuck something on there...just my $0.02

Yep. He's right, and that's the reason why there aren't any good body kits out there for these cars. Because no one wants to try to make a naturally rounded car look boxy, since it's impossible to make it look really good. These cars are shaped in such a way that adding things to them does very little for them, unlike a mustang which is a brick on wheels.

Why not go for an SS hood and spoiler? It's simple, but tasteful. I want a cowl hood eventually, but the only way one is going on my car is if I need extra clearance for my Eaton blower.

Yeah that would be nice, once I get some extra money. Not sure if I have enough for the blower part haha
