Hello everyone, new to the Camaro world, always wanted a 4th gen and literaly fell into one. A buddy of mine let a 1994 3.2L automatic go with 200,000 miles on it, nothing spectacular to look at but it is a start. It needs cosmetic work and will certainly need all of the other work.

Being new to the Camaro world though, I figured I would toss a few questions to the motor gods at hand here.

1.) What is the expected life of the V6 engine if well maintained?

2.) Minus the labor costs as I have alot of the equipment and talent avail. for free to help me do the work, what would a new or newish (100K miles or less engine) cost to purchase in the event of an engine swap.

3.) What are some things I should be alert to as far as common problems with these cars?

4.) I look forward to the learning experince and all of the advice that you will surly give.
