or hell, 383 stroker project time[8D].
i'd say around 6 grand for that.
better than buying a new engine for 10,000
better than selling car for 4500, and trying to find another one, not beaten to hell, for less than 7,000.
and you know that it has a new/rebuilt engine done properly. because it looks like rest of your car, besides engine is in great shape.

What about a bad fuel injector? One could be malfunctioning, and/or making a loud clicking noise. A bad injector can fool someone into thinking it's a bad, noisy lifter when it's not. It will also cause a misfire and a shaky engine.

ok so i drove it to school and it souds like that "knocking" is coming from my exhaust not my engine. i seriously dont hear a knock coming from the front of the car no matter how hard i listen. I have a diagnostic scheduled for the 23rd for 85 bucks at this place down the street from my school. I was saving money up to build a custom engine but its not going to be time soon.

well the noise did sound like it was coming from the back left between the valve cover and manifold.. but it all just basically echos in that area anyway.

You'll have to upload the video to youtube or photobucket or something like that to get it hosted, then you can link it.

Youtube works with cell phone videos pretty well actually. If you don't have a link from your pc to phone then e-mail it to yourself save the file and then upload to youtube. Should only take a minute or so.
