okay got it on, had to do some fancy manuevering before it went on, once it did, it was a piece of cake, it was my original driveshaft, i did notice one tooth missing on the inside of the shaft but slid on easy. i didnt want to chance it with the guys driveshaft, but thanks all for the great advice as always.

on a side note, has anyone heard about this? brought back memories....
