hihi i have a 94 camaro 3.4 liter auto and my gauges arent workin right.my tach speedo and temp gauges are way off and the rest wsork fine.when i say way off when you turn the key and not start the car the tach jumps to 4 k rpm and the speedo goes to 45 and when you start the car the tack goes up 750 rpm so it is workin but it isnt startin off at zero.im stumped all help is appreciated and if i left something out let me know thx

 

probably a bad ground somewhere.check/clean all grounds under hood for starters

 

Check the guage fuse. It also might be the alternator. I had an alternator go out on me while driving my dad's old Saturn, and all the guages started going crazy.

sounds to me like a charging issue.. Gauges go pretty dump when there is an uneven charge thats only getting wekaer.. i'd test the alt and batt...
