Default gauge covers- risks? cautions?

looking at these, but how are the installations on them? would it lead to incorrect readings etc down the road?

That is a link to engines and engine parts.

I have used www.blackcatcustoms.com for a gauge overlay that replaced the OEM one and it was no biggy and looked great.

you have to turn on ignition and make a diagram or something to check where you needles are, then turn off ignition. pull off the needles and remove the old overlay. Be careful as you odometer is fasten to it depending on year etc, (mine is). Then ones everything is back together, plug in the dials with the plastic cover off, turn on ignition again and reposition the needles in the same place. Jobs a good one
