Default Garaged for the winter and won't start

I just got a '96 Camaro. The previous owner garaged it every winter. This is the first winter I've had it, and I put it away starting around November. It sat for about a month and then when I tried to start it, it wouldn't. I jumped it and it started up fine and I let it run for about half an hour. The next day it started fine, so I let it sit for a week. Then the next time I tried, it wouldn't start again. And every time since that I've tried to start it, it's needed a jump.

Does this sound like just a bad battery? Or something worse?

Take battery to local part store and get it tested. Invest in a battery tender.

Also, if the car has an aftermarket alarm on it, they can be a parasitic draw all winter long. Not a big deal when the car is driven on a regular basis, but sitting for a couple months, combined with the low temps and that draw can kill a battery.

yep sounds like a bad battery to me. be a good idea to check for any volt/power drain when everything is off.

There is an alarm on it, and I'm actually not sure if it's stock or not. It works with the automatic lock button on the keychain and it looks like a small blinking red light on the dashboard when it's armed.
