Question Fuses Keep Blowing - Please Help!!!

2002 LT1 Camaro and the 15 AMP fuse that is tied the gauge cluster has gone out twice in the last few weeks and the 20 AMP fuse that is tied to the lighting of the gauge cluster blows ever time you turn on the lights. Has anyone else had this happen before? Not sure if it is all realated to the gauge cluster since there are other things (like the radio and tail lights) that are also tied to these fuse blocks. What's going on and what is the fix? After a search I found that aftermarket radio installs gone bad can cause this issue, but everything is bone stock. Does anyone have any ideas were to look for the short or even better wiring diagrams?

Thank you in advance!

I have heard of them blowing from a bad gauge cluster dimmer switch? Try turning the lights as low as they will get then flip on the lights for a week and see if it ever blows a fuse.

Thank you! Will give that a try... With it seemingly so random it is hard to figure out where to even look. Open to other ideas as well... will post back with dimmer switch results...

My camaro has been doing the same thing once i started doing that it stopped. I did get them to blow from hard acceleration sometime, but come to find out that was from a bare spot on the wire going to my cd player

Okay... turns out it was a bare wire that had the insulation rubbed off near the rear tail driver's tail light... hope this helps the next guy!!

I got somewhat of a problem like that. My taillight fuse will blow if I have the trunk open and turn the lights on. If the trunk is closed then it's fine. I think it's just the switch for the trunk lighting, but I just haven't looked at it yet.
