I was just wondering how many galons of gas fits into a 98-02 camaro z28?

 

I'm thinking its close to 15 gallons. Don't quote me on it though

 

98 had a 15.5 gallon tank and 99-up they upgraded it to a 16.8 G

 

Oh wow. My '02 V6 only has a 13 gallon tank.

 

Are you sure??? That doesn't sound right lol.

 

So if you have a 16.8G 1998-2002 z28 how many miles can you make out of the full tank of gas if you don't floor it all the time?

Too many factors to tell. What tranny and rear gears do you have? Are there any other mods to the engine / drivetrain?

I get just about 20 mpg with my '94 if I keep my foot out and let the cruise control do the work.

 

if running correct the stock 4th gen v8 should get 25 to 27 on highway and 20 to 25 in traffic. range could be anywhere from 300 to 450 miles.

 

wow that is a lot. i dont get near the amount as you guys do. I have a 95 z28 with 6spd and 3.42 gears and i get 12 -14 in town. and that is driving normally. on a full tank i get between 175-185 miles. and i have a new engine with only a few thousand miles on it.
