fuel trims hellp
so i changed the o2 sensors today and looked at the live data
at idle long term fuel trims are at +3.4, 3.1
when driving they go to + 7.0, 5.4
do these numbers sound right? they are lower than what they were, and i still get a faint smell of richness but not as much as what i had smelt before.
what else can cause richness? (no pun intended 69)

Fuel trim level are an indication on how much correction the computer is using to keep the fuel mixture in the STOICH range. As long as the adjustments do not run out of range, wich will light up the MIL, the fuel mixture will be correct.
i had my injectors tested trying to find why i was running rich. i had one injector that was not flowing well at all and two more that were weak. i think the computer was riching things up trying to compensate. i was getting a lean and rich code and replaced the 02's which made it go away but like you i was still smelling gas so i thought maybe a stuck injector and had em checked. cost 30 bucks for all 8 to be cleaned and flow tested. i took em off and sent em in.
pete-- im not following you too well, so you are saying the spike in the numbers are as it should be?
craby-- i called up south bay injectors, guy said i can drop off the injectors and pick up next day ready to go. so maybe tomorrow i`ll do that, i just hope i get back MY injectors
