fuel in oil
Hi I recently bought my first Chevy a 95 camaro 3.4 i was checking the oil and the dipsticksmelled like gas it starts fine doesn't stall does seem to hesitate when I would really get on it previous owner replaced sparkplugs fuel filter any ideas of what it could be

if the vehicle has sat for a while you will get this, lots of cold starts with choke on and fuel washes down bores and gets into the oil. Give the car a service (oil and filter change, plugs etc) before you do any major miles in it. Then keep and eye on the oil

should cause low pressure, gas would thin the oil. i would suspect the oil pressure sensor is failing. common on the 3.4. gas in oil can be caused by a few issues. leaky injector, high fuel pressure, fouled or failing 02 sensors, failing temp sensor, plugged air filter, im sure theres a couple more things.

Don't drive that way! Regardless to what your oil pressure gages says this will hurt you oil pressure and the gas will thin the oil out that it can not work well on your piston walls. Also there is the fact it could blow tha valve covers and oil pan right off the car. I have seen it.
If the car is running great except that my bet would be the at night dripping injector. If you pull the plugs you should be able to tell which one.
