Default Fog Light problems

I have a 1995 Camaro 3.4L. She is just a basic coupe. The problem that I've been having over the past few years is that the passenger side fog light keeps burning out. At first I thought it might have been because the fog light itself was vibrating while driving, but after repairing that the problem is still there. Has anyone come across this and beat it? I would like to know.

Water in the fog light housing?

No water or moisture that I have noticed. Previously the fog light housing mounting clip broke and the light would vibrate while driving. Since then I have fixed the housing, but the lights still keep burning out. I have talked to other Camaro owners and they have the same problem.

You are not supposed to use the fog lights on these cars, especially if it is foggy, humid, or raining. LOL The bulbs are a pain to change and they always burn out.

That's weird. I've never had that problem. Mine won't stay lit, as it has water inside. Seriously it's a third full.

I seem to have come to the conclusion that most of them leak, and the halogen bulbs really don't like water.

Have you touched the bulbs when installing them? How long do they tend to last?
The guy at autozone that sold me the bulb told me not to touch it, so naturally always questioning things.. I couldnt think of a good reason not to, so i touched all over it.. lol. Later i realized why you shouldn't touch it, but i still havent had problems with it.

As for it being difficult, it can be.. I've become semi-skilled in changing them so it isnt too bad. It does still suck, but its not too hard. I changed a friends foglight bulb in a 99 and its so much easier..

My foglights are on pretty much all the time my regular lights are on though, because i like the look of them.

hmm, i have the same problem, my passenger side is actually not as bright as the other one, and i have yet to find a solution. i always use them however, anytime my other lights are on, and even sometimes in the day i'll put them on without the headlights
