Okay... I can't hear my fuel pump priming anymore... Why would that happen?
I did run out of gas the other day... (fuel gauge is shotty)

It's also possible you didn't really run out of gas, but the pump quit on you. Can you hear the pump prime for a few seconds when you turn the key to the "on" position, not "start"?

When I was younger and not thinking, driving my '95 on the highway and ran it out of gas -- the pump was toast and had to be replaced.
Fuel pump repairs are not cheap on these cars due to the work involved. Extended warranties are your friend -- some companies insure up to 150k...![Wink](https://camaroforums.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)
