first brake change on camaro

Default first brake change on camaro

i have drove a jeep cherokee and this first brake change on my camaro so i took tire off but to undo the caliper it a weird bolt what do i need to use to get it free or is there a other way

nothing weird about it at all, I believe it's a 9mm hex key or socket. it's pretty common among a lot of cars

actually i think its a 8mm hex

its only one bolt... how much easier do you want it to be? that the bolt off, slade caliper off rotor, swap pads,,,, thats an easy brake job man,,,

1 bolt? u shure on that? smells like calipers are held on by two bolts to me

i dont take the calipers apart to change pads on these cars, just detach the caliper as a whole

One bolt will undo the caliper but mine was thread locked, had to use a breaker bar to turn it. Also if you take the rotor brackets off- use loctite, wish I knew that before...

Mine was either a 12 or 13mm I forget exactly

3/8 at advanced auto it works great did it in 45 min
