Do you have that in writing? If you aren't yet 18, have your parents get it in writing. What you have right now is a "verbal contract" and probably done without any adult witnesses.

Clearly the origonal owner was going so fast the engine blew up and he broke the speedometer so he had to have the engine fixed but he knew he would never go that fast agin so he parked the car

uhhhhh no argument here just commenting...... food for thought

and it would be "reliability and having an agreement" not liability lol

buy a cover for the dash i have one for my z cuz florida+143 DB = a bad dash so i went with the cover it will save u some money or if u can do fiberglass do that.
