Also a side note size you are getting a 2ohm amp you should get a 2ohm sub to get the full power from the amp.

The amp is rated at 300 watts RMS at 4ohms. Read again, friend.

I assumed you knew chaotic94 . Not a lot of people know. This thread isn't just for you. What I'm trying to say is don't get discouraged by the low rms wattage. And yea the amp is 300rms at 4ohms and if you get a 2 ohm sub would get 500rms going to it. Unless you go with 2 4ohm subs then the ohm will drop to 2ohm load on the amp making 500rms budday. You might want to reread that part yourself. It is good to see people buying some of the lesser know brands instead of buying jl audio and swearing It's the best brand ever. Chaotic how low of hertz do you currently have your system currently set up to pick up?

Man thats high. What about your subsonic filter. 120hz still contains some mids and even some highs in there.

I did have it at 80 but it seemed like there wasn't enough there. I wanted it at 100 but my system doesn't allow for that. Only options are 80, 120, and 160.

I just got an 12" Alpine Type-R in my car yesterday. I'm already thinking it is too much bass.
