Exhaust packages
Well I'm looking to upgrade my entire exhaust system and I'd prefer to just buy it all in one place. Problem is I'm not 100% sure on what to get. I currently have a Magnaflow catback but it's pretty old and there's a hole somewhere in the system. I found this Summit Racing 05-0010 - Summit Racing® Exhaust System Pro Packs - Overview - SummitRacing.com which I would think should work well and be a good upgrade, then I'll just buy a new catback to go with it. Also I live in Oregon and emissions is a b**ch so I'm not too sure about LT's working for me. Any ideas or suggestions on good full packages? Thanks for any help!!

Check with your state/county/city laws is sometimes they will vary such as here in PA where some cities have emission testing and others that just do a quick looksy under the car and slap the sticker on. You may be able to get away with long tubes that keep all the emissions in place. If not, shorties and mid lengths are still a good choice. You will have to work out a way to keep the cat or buy a catted y-pipe as that is a Federal law.

In my case, I bought a straight through pipe that looks like a cat that connects to my off road y-pipe. But I also don't have the sniffer tests and the guy I take it too to have it inspected is a family friend and doesn't look for the emissions stuff. He just makes sure the car is safe to drive.
In your case, you'd have to buy a aftermarket cat to pass the sniffer test.

You can get universal high flow cats for not too much just get the proper inlet/outlet.
When I did the exhaust on my V6 Camaro I bought one on eBay for less then $70 shipped.
I agree with FD though you should just look for a catted system and LT that have all your emissions hook ups.
I recommend contacting Maryland Speed. They are very helpful and willing to work out deals when you buy a few things to make a package.

There is nothing special about that "pro" pack, its just Pacesetter brand LT's and ARP studs. I don't know LT1 prices too much, but in the ls1 world 600+ is damn expensive for Pacesetter headers, and Pacesetter isn't exactly high quality
