The V6s and V8s have different frames. You should get the K frame from a LT1 Camaro or the BMR tubular. Even with the LT1 frame you may have to do some modes depending on the oil pan you have.
This swap is REALLY they are Way to expensive. Once you pull out the PCM and put in a carb motor and non-computer transmission and remove the computer many of the things in the car will not work, including most of the dash. For what it will cost to get all the crap working you could buy a good running LT1 or even a LS1 car.
Now if you are building a race track only car, have at it.
