Engine running rich.

So its come to my attention that my engine may be running a little rich. What would be a way to fix that.

any trouble codes? it could be a number of things, bad plugs and wires, bad coil, leaky injector, bad o2s, ect.

Basic- No trouble codes, ran em a few days ago.
jk- you can tell just by the smell of your exhaust that youre running rich.

I wonder if mine is running rich. Shouldn't the computer prevent that and if it could not, it would set a code?

ALDL OBD1 OBD cable OBDI OBD2 engine codes

buy the cable and log the data; you'll know right quick

test evap system, check 02 sensors for fouling, check plugs for fouling, have injectors cleaned and flow tested look far any vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, check maf to see if dirty, check air filter, fuel filter.
