Default electrical problems/ window problems

So a few weeks ago my gauges backlight went out. I put a new ip dimmer fuse in and they worked. A few days past and it blew again. It lasted til the next day and blew. Now its blowing them within a couple mins. Also i think my window motor went out on the drivers side. When i bought the car back in September i was told it was replaced recently. It also went faster then the passenger side and it never slowed down or acted weird. It just complety stoped. I did notice when i bought the car that the switch was screwed in and the door lock switch wasnt working but it does now. The car is a 94 z28 m6.

gauge light problem is most likely in the gauge cluster or the dimmer switch. get the ohm meter out and start testing the wires to the dimmer for a hot wire thats showing a ground. also look for any indication of damage or short. better do some testing on your window switch as well. brb
