Ok so i have a 97 base 3.8l. I went to start my car when well nothing happened no dash lights no head or interior lights. I flipped it back and fourth a couple times then the dash lights came on but a second later they all started blinking all crazy like then all the electric went away again. I have a new battery the cables and posts are clean no blown fuses. What could be my problem someone please help.

 

could be ignition switch or connecting arm that connects from key to switch is bent or needs adjusting. heres some info on it. get your volt meter out and start tracking from battery if need. check for power to the switch.
