EGR and header issue, please help.

Make sure you will pass CAs emissions ***** before you do anything permanent... You can tune out the EGR related codes from the computer with a tuner handheld or software...

Maybe it's not a gasket. If you look at it though, it sure as he'll looks like on up close, but it's deff not sealing to the header correctly and is getting worse, sounds like a damn tractor now.. Lol.

to make sure its not the pipe, when its cold start it and get your hand back there before it gets hot to see if you can feel where the exhaust is coming from. mine is flex pipe and is not the strongest stuff. there is a gasket on the intake side of the pipe on mine. check the header bolts for tightness and look around the header to head area for any signs of leakage.

ok if its thats loud it must be close to unhooked. my egr pipe leak sounded like the header gasket was leaking. like a lifter tick but louder. took me a while to find.
