Ebay CAI?
So I know I want to go with a CAI and am pretty sure I want to go with K&N. But it's pretty damn expensive [>:]. I was killing time and came across some CAI's on Ebay that were a lot cheaper, and I know you usually get what you pay for. The years only go up to 1997 which mine is a 99 3.8so I don't even think it will fit and by the pictures it looks like they just put a hole in the side of my filter lid for a tube that comes from the wheel well. Has anyone actually bought one of these? Do you think it will fit a 99 3.8? Should I just save up for the K&N like I've already planned?[&o]

RE: Ebay CAI?
honestly man an intake is a intake is a intake as long as it flows freely...however couple of things...
the claim on there that says 10-15 is a complete load...
that particular one is gonna neeed to be installed really well becuase of the rubber bend up at the top if thats not tight at both ends its gonna cause the air to not flow as freely

RE: Ebay CAI?
You're better of going for a name brand, but both of those are for the early 4th gens. You can get a "Lid" style intake for your car. I believe somewhere on the forum there's a guide to open up your stock intake to make it flow better as well.
