They don't run without a cam. You can have a machine shop to check the specs or you can do it with a degree wheel and a dial indicator, and you can look at the markings on the cam & find a way to decipher them.

yea sorry i should have been a bit more specific about the question... was wondering if there was a way to find out if the cam was stock or aftermarket. but thx pete ill try to have someone take a look at it.
