Question Easy Question about wipers...

Hey guys, as the title say i have a question about windshield wipers. I bought some new ones about a year ago and the work great except for one issue....i dont belive the arms are tightened down enough so when ever i use them they leave a nice big triangle shaped pool of water right in my view on the drivers side. And unless its alot of water, they streak all over the windshield. And way to tighten them down? or is it somthing else. Thanks guys

did you replace the arm and the blades or just blades, the early year 4th gen have a reverse mount. should be an r at the end of the part number.

94-97 need Trico 24-9R wipers. You can get them at Advance or online.

Did you get the old steel beam style blades or did you upgrade the newer style? If you went with old style, upgrade to newer style. Might seem expensive, but they last longer and wipe a lot better.

should wipe the windshield though. mine at least do that and there old style and old arms. you could take the cover off and see if its lose. or try lifting the blade so its kinda straight up and jiggle it see if it seems lose at the base. what kind of blade is it, if its not the multi brace with the fingers that hold the blade they dont flex enough or support the blade for the full length. heck we like pictures lets see a video of it if you have time and camera.

Sounds like a plan. Then you had the nice triangle of loose water in your way? Not really a big deal but driving at night when its raining sure kept me on my toes. Im still gonna check if there loose, unless its just the blades that smeer the small bits of water? Like i said if its alot of water then no problem.

mine does that sorta oil thing when theres a certain amount of water on it, i think somebody put the rainex on my windshield or its been washed with the wax car soap to many times. the new rainex blades worked ok they just didnt wipe the whole window and then when they got a year or so old they didnt work so hot. thats when i figured i just go with oem blades.
