do you think the v6 just felt slow because the power and torque are in the high rpms and thus not conducive to automatic transmissions? Maybe a manny tranny would have made your experience better? if you've ever ridden a bike such as a 600 or 650, the low end torque is non existant but get up the revs and they scream despite the small displacement.

These new sixes like the camaro and mustang need to be driven in the higher rpms to benefit from the power zone and that is contrary to how American drivers have been accustomed to driving.

I won't buy a car with an auto tranny and haven't since 1979 and that is one of the reasons. I prefer to control if I want the car in the power band and also prefer to drive a car vs ride in one (manny vs auto)

yeah the course for us to drive was only in town, so not really much chance to explore the upper revs at all haha
