I got The window to go back up and installed motor to hold it up. But the motor wont go up or down. I noticed when i was putting it back together and angeled the motor it would work and then not. like when it was off center.

Could it be failing? Thanks for the help.

 

do you have a mechanics mirror?

I've done the motor on my 4th gen but at this very moment, I'm replacing the window on the driver's side of my 3rd gen along with a new motor and regulator. Needless to say, I removed everything and am putting it back together so this subject is near and dear to me.

Where do you stand with this right now? And, is the spring still on the regulator? Hopefully it didn't fall off

 

yeah it has electric mirrors. but they dont work. i didnt see a spring on regulator but im not totally sure.

The window is now stuck in the up position.
