Double sided tape removal

Double sided tape removal
I am taking the body moldings off the Z and I was wondering what is the best way to get the double sided tape off the car and make it look all nice and clean?
And also, I'm repainting the berger panel and installing the Z28 and bow tie emblems back on. What's the best stuff to hold the emblems on tight?

I have a few cans of WD40 and PB Blaster but I wasn't sure how they would act on the paint since I'm trying the scrub it off. I'll give that a try too. Can I use some type of silicon for the emblems? I have that here, but no double sided emblem tape.

WD40 won't hurt the paint. Whether you use that or mineral spirits, you want to remove the oily residue with a cleaning solvent. Brake cleaner won't hurt for a quick clean. Never use carb cleaner on paint (that you want to keep). Silicone adhesive should hold, good prep (sand back of emblem) is key.

I'll try the WD40 and see how it works, thanks.
Yeah I have my emblem prepped and painted already. I painted it white because I painted the panel black. And I have super glue and a couple silicones so I'll see what will work best.
