Door Glass Replacement
Can anybody here outline the steps to replace door glass in a 2000 Camaro SS? Does the window motor have to come out to do the job? Since my SS is my main ride, and it's out of commission right now because of a broken window, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lower window halfway.
Remove the inside door panel and water deflector.
Support the window and use some rubber wedges at the front and rear of the window between the window and inner door panel.
Use a 1/4 drill bit and drill out the 3 rivets that hold the window in the door.
Remove the window bushings and retainers.
Remove the front up stop screw if necessary.
If necessary remove the front up stop, nut, and washer.
If necessary remove the front stabilizer screws.
remove the window stabilizer pins and nuts and the wedges.
Installation is the reverse process.
Never done it but that is what the procedures say.
