Default Disc slipping or some kind of slipping noise

I have a noise coming from my car sometimes that almost sounds like a disc is slipping or something.. maybe two metal plates spinning beside each other. After I drive for a while it goes away though, but once I start it without having driven it for a little while, it's back.

On a related note, some days when I rev my engine to drive or anything it makes an air induction noise almost like I have a turbo (i wish)

Any help would be appreciated

Hmm.. it would be almost where the tranny is.. like right in front of the driver but between passenger and driver side. So I'm guessing it's tranny. Well ****.. hope my lubrico warranty covers transmission issues. If not I'm gonna flip ****on the dealership I bought it from.. Had it for like 8-9 months.

Does the sound come and go when you push the clutch? Does it do while you are sitting still or moving? Both?

It kinda comes mostly when I'm releasing the clutch or if it's just idling when I haven't driven it for a while. So.. a little of both.

IF you can make the noise change with pressure on the clutch its most likley the release bearing. Can you make a video of it?

The noise doesn't really change, it's just there or it's not. Unless that's what you mean, in which case im an idiot :P. I can try but it doesn't always happen

I'd be willing to bet it,s your throw-out bearing (release bearing). Good news is the bearing only cost a few bucks. Bad news is the tranny is gonna have to come out to change it. If you drop the trans. you might as well go ahead and install a new clutch kit while your there which will run you a few hundred bucks if you do the work yourself. Also clutches and related componets arent covered under most if not all warranties. Sorry man... but I think this one is gonna hurt the ole wallet.

I've got engine/tranny, seals and gaskets, differential coverage. You think clutch/clutch release bearing would be in there? And that's fine, as long as it get fixed. Also, sometimes when I put the clutch in it makes this loud noise like something released really hard.

Any suggestions on clutchs? I want one that releases and catches quickly but is VERY smooth to shift into.
