Difference between stock air filter box without traction and with trac
ok im going back to stock air filter box cause i dont like my K&N, so im going to the wreckers tomorrow, my car does not have traction control, does this make a difference ? cause i know on K&N web site it states a different K&N FIPK kit for a car with traction....any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Its a 95 Z28.

Well it makes a difference on the LT1 cars that have TC because the TC module is located where the cone sits. The stock air box is built to fit with or without TC. I would put the K&N drop in filter in the car to improve your mileage and to help your engine breathe easier.
Also note that the 98-02 box will NOT fit your car unless you upgrade the nose to the catfish nose. Also the cable throttle body on the 3.8L engine has a different silencer than the ones with TBW.
