Default Dash Light Fuse Blowing

My dash light fuse (the dimmer circuit) keeps blowing out. Sometimes it will last a few days, sometimes less. Are there any known issues that I can look for, that others may have experienced?

i would think that either the switch has a sort in it or the wires or plugin could have issues. gonna have to take the dash out and have a look see.

I had the exact same issue & it ended up being the dimmer switch was faulty.. Got a new switch & it has been just fine since. Though your issue could be something else..

Well, I had no light in my center console, so I knew something was not right there (that's on the same circuit). So I took that apart, and found that someone had put one of the screws through one of the courtesy light wires. I had a bare wire touching metal. So I definately found a short...hopefully it is "the" short.
