Smile Custom door sills?

Hi everyone!
Brand new poster here hoping to get some help! I've seen quite a few people around with custom door sills done in stainless steel, etc. I've checked out quite a few sites that make them, but most don't for the 4th gen Camaro. My brother has a 99 SS and he loves the sills idea and I thought it would be a perfect Christmas present.

I've tried messaging a few people on sites like cardomain to only have no reply to where they come from and even tried a site that would make them custom for the car with my measurements...they never replied to me (this is 2 months later).

So I was wondering if anyone on this site could point me in the right direction. It would be greatly appreciated!

Jenna

Here's a couple sites. Stainless steel is pricey though http://emblempros.com/interior1?b=1 http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...e9a65da8350af7 maybe try ebay as well.

Thanks for the links! The stainless steel is a little pricey, but nice. I guess I'd be looking for any metal type sill. Anyone seen any with Camaro SS or anything carved into them?

I tried looking through Summits online catalog and no sills for the car. I also tried ebay and they only have the solid mirrored ones.

CamaroSister... I was also thinking diamond plate sills. There is a custom metal fabricating company where I live & I have had a few pieces made for my truck. All I did was made up a template or a blueprint with all of the dimensions/etc & told them what I wanted it made out of & they did a fabulous job. They can even apply 3M Adhesive to the back or what ever you want.

This thread has actually sparked my interest in getting a set made from polished up diamond plate.

Thanks LHill00Z28. Do you have the name of this company? I heard back from the company around here, but since it took them so long to get back to me and they gave me the "we were so busy we couldn't get back to you until now" line...I have no confidence in them. Now I know nothing about metal fabricating or companies that do that. Do you think it would be possible to get something cut into them?

CamaroSister, I am traveling today but I will look up the info tonight & send to you. As for cutting something into them I am not sure but they probably could. Talk to you later.
