Just google your engine type with the word specification. Like “LT1 Specification” If its a V6 add the word Camaro. You should not need to know that to order a crank. Cranks are Very engine specific. You could buy a crank with a different stroke and it would still fit your car. You have heard of the term “bored and stroked”. What cannot change on your crank is the size of the main bearing journals more the -.030, the distance between the rod journals, the distance between the main journals, the front and rear main seal area the method or type of balancing and anything that may have to do with a crank sensor. Any crank you buy will need to be made for the engine model you have and to a point the years. Example: A crank for a 1993 LT1 may not fit a 1994 Lt1 because of a seal change or because of a different keyway to hold on the balancer. Before you buy any crank you want to be sure if will fit your engine and year, Now if they offer different stokes for you engine your year then you can play, but any manufacture should have a warning saying “Over stroked” or “Under stroke” because of all the other parts it would effect.
