cooling fans wont work

I'm workin on a 94 Z-28 the cooling fans won't work. When I straight wired them they work and the relays are good also. Any Help??

How high does the temp get? The low speed won't com on if the refrigerant is low as well.

It will stay around 180 if I'm runnin it down the road. But at a stop light the temp climbs to around 240 almost at the red line.

The AC system has been unhooked with the compressor cooling lines are just hanging down.

I had the same problem. Here's what I did: changed the radiator (found a leak), changed the radiator cap, had to bleed coolant lines, installed a manual fan switch. I recently removed the a/c system and everything still works great. Hope this helps.
